Job Description:
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll be at the core of our product’s development, responsible for both hands-on coding and mentoring junior team members. Leveraging your extensive experience in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js), you will architect scalable, high-performance solutions and ensure best practices across our codebase. This is a unique opportunity to lead and contribute to a high-impact project in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of high-quality web applications using the MERN stack.
- Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and efficient APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating complex product requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Optimize the application for peak performance and scalability.
- Guide UI/UX feasibility discussions, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Implement data solutions leveraging MongoDB and support data integrity and security.
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews, mentor junior developers, and set best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing code and functionality.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies, industry trends, and integrate best practices into development processes.
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience as a Full Stack Developer, with mastery of the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
- Strong command of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks.
- Proficient in RESTful API design and secure implementation.
- Experience with cloud platforms and deployment strategies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Solid understanding of version control best practices (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a strong analytical mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills and proven collaboration experience across diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
- Preferred: Experience in the creative industry or with SaaS products.
