Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive individual to provide essential administrative support and project coordination for the Executive Office and the President & CEO. The position is at the center of the Museum’s operations and this position must be ready to engage with all stakeholders at every level of the institution. This position is a dual responsibility of managing executive operations and acting as a liaison to the board.
- Pay $28-$30 per hour. Salary if/when perm: $60,000 - $70,000 with generous benefits
- 5 days in office.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Museum Trustees, funders, staff, consultants, vendors and other professional colleagues on behalf of the President & CEO, including drafting and editing letters, emails, contracts and reports
- Coordinate the Trustee communications and Committee meetings, including scheduling, setting agendas, preparing minutes, organizing and distributing materials, and list management
- Assist with the administration and preparation of meetings and responsibilities within the Executive office, ensuring accurate and timely entries into the CRM system
- Conduct research, writing, and project management for the Executive Office initiatives.
- Coordinate special projects as needed within the Executive Office and across the Museum
- Supervise, train, and manage Executive Office Assistant
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of full-time administrative experience with demonstrated interest in museums, cultural, Jewish, or non-profit organizations
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work accurately to meet deadlines
- Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Fluency with Office 360 and experience with CRM systems (Raisers Edge or Altru preferred)
- Ability to work occasional evenings and Sundays
- 2-year community college, B.A. or B.S. degree required
