Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for day-to-day operations involving qualified retirement accounts.
- Review and validate IRA documentation and transaction coding to ensure accurate tax reporting.
- Analyze and resolve complex tax reporting issues.
- Stay up-to-date on evolving tax laws and regulations.
- Act as a subject matter expert, training and mentoring team members.
- Collaborate with the custodian, Legal, branch, and home office personnel to resolve complex account issues.
- Engage with advisors, service teams, and custodians to streamline processes and enhance the client/advisor experience.
Qualifications:
- Energetic and confident with the ability to handle multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced, visible role.
- A collaborative, detail-oriented, and organized professional.
- Motivated self-starter with intellectual curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong understanding of IRS regulations for tax withholding and reporting.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex information effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other collaborative tools.
- Commitment to delivering top-notch customer service.
Education & Experience:
- 3+ years of financial services experience, including operations involving qualified accounts.
Licenses/Registration:
- Series 99 & SIE required (or ability to obtain within the first year).
