About the Role
The North America Procurement Analyst, Global Procurement is responsible for procurement activities related to the sourcing, contract execution, and market analysis of major equipment for the development of renewable energy sites focused in North America. This position will report to the Senior Strategic Procurement Manager, Global Procurement and support all North American Brookfield affiliates.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Global Procurement team in connection with the local Procurement and Business Development teams in North America leveraging the organization’s scale for best cost and value
- Develop and maintain strong and mutually beneficial supplier relationships
- Collaborate with the North America development and procurement teams to understand long term pipeline volume as it relates to product offerings and pricing relevant to their business
- Compile pipeline data to identify and optimize bulk ordering availability
- Effectively manage existing and upcoming orders for all North America businesses for Solar and High Voltage equipment.
- Produce reports, communications, and presentations regarding complex US compliance regulations
- Create and maintain SharePoint pages between internal and external teams
- Monitor internal databases for expiration of contract documents and work with supporting legal teams on creating new or updated version
- Work with local Construction, Operations, and Finance teams on supporting documentation as it relates to equipment orders
- Review and Approve invoices for payment from external consultants
- Support the equipment bid process to successful supplier selection and contract signature, including:
- Preparing commercial bid documents including contractual terms and conditions with support from Legal Counsel and local Development teams;
- Creating and Analyzing bid evaluation matrix with support from the technical team;
- Conducting commercial evaluations including normalization of all compliant proposals;
- Liaise with the Technical team to ensure all technical components of contracts are appropriately evaluated and addressed in the procurement process
- Negotiate additions, deletions, or modifications to contracts as needed for project specific items
- Contract hand over to appropriate external and internal resources for operations management
- Stay current with market requirements, resources, pricing and trends and prepare internal briefing decks to keep the business apprised of changing trends in the renewable supply chain
- Attend various trade shows, events, meetings, manufacturing sites, etc to maintain and develop relationships throughout the industry.
Knowledge and Experience Required
- 1-3 years Procurement experience, experience in Renewable Energy preferred
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of, and experience with, recognized procurement practices and terms
- Able to interact with remote internal business staff and external vendor & contractor personnel effectively and professionally.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- United States Citizen or has United States Visa
- Ability to travel internationally up to 10%

Pay Range: $70k-80k/yr. Bonus: 15%
