Position - Technical Assistance Director / Technical Team Lead
Location - Remote (but the candidate should live in Florida)
Bill Rate - $65.00 - $70.00/hr on W2 (only US Citizen)

Job Profile Summary
This position provides assistance to direct, manage, supervise & coordinate the activities and operations of the Software Development team. Provides highly responsible and multi-faceted administrative, technical and hands-on support to the Chief Enterprise Architect in a highly dynamic Information Technology environment.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related program required. Master’s degree preferred.
An equivalent of experience and education may be considered
Minimum Experience/Training:
Eight years of related software development experience.
Preferred 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with Ellucian Banner, including configuration, customization, and development.
Essential Functions:
Daily - 20%: Supports, administers and manages the BC customized web applications to ensure availability during posted hours of operation.
Daily - 15%: Manages projects and resources to deliver customized web applications according to business need.
Weekly - 10%: Collaborates with other IT areas to plan completion of project requirements.
Weekly - 10%: Assists users with functional requirements gathering to ensure developed applications meet business need.
Daily - 10%: Tests applications developed by subordinates to ensure they meet project specifications.
Other - 10%: Responsible for people management of the area, including recommendation of staffing, hiring, termination and discipline, setting performance standards and evaluating staff, and staff development.
Weekly - 5%: Develops customized applications according to project requirements.
Monthly - 5%: Trains users on how to utilize developed customized applications.
Monthly - 5%: Evaluates and recommends development tools for providing customized applications.
Annually - 5%: Recommends development standards to ensure customized applications are developed uniformly.
Daily - 5%: Performs related duties as assigned.

In-depth functional knowledge and expertise in development and execution of project plans and delivery of results
Requires application of professional theories to conduct analytical/problem-solving and technical skills
Requires the application of functional expertise in related areas and general knowledge across multiple areas of IT and cross-functional activities
Ability to lead and set direction for the work of others to unit performance standards for cost, quality, and output (e.g., demonstrated supervisory and organizational skills, ability to set priorities for self and others, schedule work activities, allocate resources and provide appropriate feedback
Ability to exchange information, present recommendations and collaborate with colleagues and peers within the College and external third party vendors.
