A government affiliated firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their growing team as a Purchasing Contracts Manager in their Florida office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all activities related to the preparation, reviewing and monitoring of all business contracts related to the acquisition of goods, materials and services in addition to multiple solicitation types including RFP's, RFQ's, ITB's and ITQ's for the organization.
- Manage, coordinate, and reviews all contracts as they flow between the Purchasing, Legal, Risk Management and End User Departments in order to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Maintain direct contact with suppliers and vendors and other stakeholders during the review, negotiation, and execution process of the contracts.
- Supervises Contract Staff within the Purchasing Department.
- Perform other duties, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance or related field .
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience working as a Contract Manager or working in a similar capacity.
- Proficient computer skills including expertise in the use of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat;.
- Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
