Hanwha Advanced Materials America, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Analyst to join our team. The Cost Analyst will be responsible for determining and negotiating the costs of materials and products related to our manufacturing operations. This role involves managing the bidding process for new product projects, conducting thorough analysis of costs, and collaborating with various departments to optimize pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Determination and Negotiation: Determine and negotiate the cost of materials and products necessary for manufacturing operations, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Bidding Process Management: Oversee the bidding process for projects involving new products, ensuring timely and accurate submissions that align with company goals.
- Cost Analysis: Perform comprehensive analysis of standard and actual costs for new and existing products to identify discrepancies and opportunities for cost savings.
- Product Pricing Management: Manage product pricing strategies, including negotiations for Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) pricing, Engineer-Order (EO) pricing, and raw materials pricing.
- Collaboration: Confer with production departments, customers, and vendors to discuss and adjust cost estimates, ensuring alignment with operational needs and market conditions.
- Additional Duties: Execute additional job duties as necessary to support the finance and production teams, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cost analysis, budgeting, or financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bilingual in Korean and English
- Experience in manufacturing a plus
