Cancer Care Northwest is hiring a Full-Time Oncology Pharmacist that provides quality patient care in relation to the patient's oncologic diagnosis, prescribed treatment, age group, and other identified needs. Provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care to oncology patients to assure safe and effective drug therapy. Requires independent decision-making, clinical judgment, and an in-depth knowledge of oncology and therapeutics. Reports directly to drug operations director.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Licensure: Current pharmacist licensure in the State of Washington or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in pharmacy practice OR completion of a PGY-1 pharmacy residency. At least one year oncology experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pharmacy Specialty Board Certification (BCOP or BCPS)
- PGY-2 in oncology
- Experience with Epic EHR
