Medela is seeking a Pricing Analyst who has strong experience in:
- Pricing administration and standard pricing experience with GPO’s
- Contract pricing, rebates, incentives, and accruals are properly executed in SAP ERP system
- Executing and managing the process for pricing eligibility as it relates to the terms of customer contracts
- Managing and executing contract obligations (rebates, payments, reporting, customer data management) accurately and on-time to ensure compliance with contract obligations

Medela's US-based manufacturing and development facility is headquartered in McHenry, Illinois. The Pricing Analyst position requires an on-site presence in McHenry, IL, three days a week and two days remote.
Education/Experience Requirements – Pricing Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum three years experience in commercial operations, contracting, pricing, and rebates, or related role is required
- Experience with reading, interpreting, and recommending contract language preferred
- Proficient in a Windows environment and with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional Excel skills
- Experience in Medical Device industry and experience with analyzing data and working with Sales and Finance teams highly desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
- Experience working in an environment with global objectives
Position Responsibilities – Pricing Analyst
- Act as a key operational liaison between internal organizations to properly support customer pricing execution, contract execution and contract life-cycle management processes.
- Act as a key operational liaison in executing standard pricing.
- Execute and ensure contracts, contract pricing, rebates, incentives, and accruals are properly executed in SAP ERP system.
- Responsible for executing Medela customer contracts and eligibility with Distribution Partners to ensure pricing accuracy, chargeback accuracy, and rebate accuracy in order to minimize A/R risk as it relates to Commercial Operations processes.
- Execute and manage the process for pricing eligibility as it relates to the terms of customer contracts. Including direct communication with customers, GPO’s, IDN’s, and Distribution partners to govern contract and pricing compliance.
- Responsible for managing and executing contract obligations (rebates, payments, reporting, customer data management) accurately and on-time to ensure Medela compliance to contract obligations.
- Responsible for executing the price activation process for GPO and other relevant contracts to ensure pricing and invoice accuracy.
- Communicate price change notifications to Distribution Partners and other relevant customers to insure contract compliance and maintain best-in-class processes.
- Support pricing activities for new product launches.
- Responsible for communicating material changes, adds, and obsoleting to customers per contract requirements.
- Prepare, develop, and analyze ad-hoc reporting as necessary for the business as well as internal and external customers.
- Interprets standard contracts and provides guidance to the Commercial Operations team in administering contracts.
- Develops and reports metrics associated with pricing processes and Sales team satisfaction
