Our Client:
Our client is one of the leading rigid pipe plastics manufacturers in the country. This company is stable and has great leadership and culture.
The Role:
- Manage and supervise a team of production workers, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback as needed.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Monitor production processes and adjust staffing levels and equipment as needed to meet production goals.
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes and equipment are operating safely and efficiently and identify and resolve issues that may impact production.
- Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure that all manufacturing processes meet quality standards.
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions for manufacturing processes.
Qualification:
- 5+ years of manufacturing production experience is required.
- 3+ years of manufacturing leadership is required.
- Plastics extrusion experience is highly preferred.
