Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Residential Designer to join our team. In this role, you will work within our CAD system to develop construction plan sets for our production team, ensuring all designs meet our high standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce architectural construction documents that meet project specifications and building codes.
- Develop detailed construction plan sets based on markups and selections from the sales team.
- Incorporate plan revisions efficiently and accurately as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure timely completion of drawings.
- Utilize prior construction knowledge to inform and enhance plan development.
- Leverage CAD experience to streamline the drafting process.
- Maintain high attention to detail throughout the drafting process to ensure accuracy.
- Provide support to the sales team by delivering accurate and timely drawings.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in drafting, architecture, or a related field.
- Previous architectural drafting experience is essential for quick contribution in this role.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Softplan, or similar)
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Compensation:
- $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
