The Military Division of Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for an Machine Operator for their Crawfordsville IN facility. * They are preferably seeking candidates with U.S. military experience. *
Previous manufacturing experience is highly preferred and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!
Shift: Day and night shifts available. 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 work schedule. Shifts are 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am
Compensation: $19.00-22.00/hour
What You Will Do:
- Review process sheet for each job assigned to confirm that set-up and furnished materials will yield required product.
- Set up and operate assigned extrusion line to produce quality product at established rates; perform safe start up and shut down of extrusion line as required.
- Complete first piece inspection and hourly quality inspections verifying gauge, size, squareness, surface condition and overall appearance of the product.
- Band skids and move loads to next work center as necessary.
- Keep machine and area clean.
- Report mechanical problems to Lead Operator, Manager, and/or shift maintenance.
Education and Work Experience
- Strong Mechanical aptitude required
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred (not required)
- Basic math skills; must be able to read and use a tape measure and micrometer
- Must be able to use a hand truck to move materials and move heavier loads with forklift
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Will frequently lift up to 60 pounds, required to work at heights and under adverse ambient temperature conditions
