Our firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of experience, ideally from a big law background, to join our dynamic team. This role will involve representing clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes, including business and commercial contracts, M&A-related post-closing disputes, shareholder conflicts, lender liability, director and officer liability, trade secrets, and unfair competition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle litigation related to business and commercial contracts, M&A disputes, and breach of representation and warranties.
- Manage cases involving shareholder, joint venture, and partnership conflicts.
- Work on lender and investor fraud liability, director and officer liability, and Sarbanes-Oxley claims.
- Litigate trade secrets, covenants not to compete, and unfair business practices.
- Represent clients in creditor's rights, adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court, and fraudulent transfer claims.
- Engage in franchise disputes, insurance claims, and accounting malpractice litigation.
- Participate in arbitration and mediation with AAA, ICC, and FINRA, as well as appellate litigation in state and federal courts.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience, ideally within a big law firm.
- Strong understanding of complex commercial disputes, including M&A, shareholder, and creditor’s rights issues.
- Experience in arbitration, mediation, and appellate litigation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client management skills.
