Akkodis is seeking a Quality Technician for a contract to hire position with a leading advanced material solutions company located in Millbury, MA.

Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.00 hr

Description:
The Quality Technician will conduct performance quality testing using various equipment and methods. Complete and approve certificate on conformances for customers. The technician will have strong communication skills to effect transfer information.
Requirements:
3-5 years’ experience as a Quality Tech
1 year experience as machinist
Physical and mechanical testing including resin characteristics, tensile strength, climbing drum peel, compressive strength, and pyrolysis
Updating quality data, including physical test data, mechanical test data, and inspection data
Physical and mechanical testing including: resin characteristics, tensile strength, climbing drum peel, compressive strength, pyrolysis, etc.
Completing and sending certification documents to the customer
Completing and updating required quality documentation
Completing quality and process audits
Investigating quality issues, including root cause analysis and NCR closure
