Summary: This position requires the individual to be analytical, detailed oriented, and organized with the ability to apply critical thinking, perform under pressure and interact well with internal and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Embrace standard processes and become proficient in utilizing all tools daily developed to improve pricing accuracy and analytics
- Set up and maintain pricing conditions and data tables according to company pricing structures and customer agreements
- Review reports daily to ensure pricing is up to date
- Provide support and act as a backup to the pricing and finance teams
- Analyze, draft and maintain internal/external pricing
- Support special projects/initiatives thru data analytics and necessary report build templates
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 2-3 years Freight forwarding experience
- Some IT background a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office necessary– Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
- Ability to meet or exceed deadlines
- Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Must have freight forwarding background
- International transportation experience
- Must know market conditions
