Summary
Responsible for creating and managing budgets, advising on corporate financial and accounting guidelines, reviewing project funding requests, preparing reports, and providing analysis of trends and impacts driving financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Create six-year budget plans with supporting business cases and value propositions
- Analyze current fiscal year expenditures and forecasts including summary explanations driving current performance and year-end results
- Collaborate with responsible and project managers to develop budget plans, business cases, resource plans and forecasts
- Develop reports and dashboards that provide and improve financial performance insights and decision making
- Consult on corporate financial and accounting guidelines to categorize and charge expenses
- Track and communicate major drivers and project changes that impact financial performance
- Perform total cost of ownership and cost/benefit analysis of projects and programs
- Review and advise on emerging project requests that provide insight to executive leadership related to financial considerations
- Analyze industry and vendor trends that influence future year budget plans
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields and extensive analytical experience.
- Knowledge of SAP, ServiceNow preferred
- Power BI preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Information Technology Services preferred
- Advanced analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for all audiences within an organization, especially executive leadership
- Excellent customer service and a focus on delivering results
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, work independently, and ask for guidance as needed
