About the Role
Your Role: Aerospace Electrical Engineer
We’re looking for a talented Aerospace Electrical Engineer to join our team and take on a variety of exhilarating challenges. Your role will encompass:
- Design and Analysis: Work on electrical systems and components, focusing on aircraft interior modifications and avionics upgrades.
- Engineering Documentation: Create detailed reports, drawings, and work instructions for electrical installations and modifications.
- Customer Engagement: Participate in design reviews and presentations, sharing your expertise with clients.
- Project Coordination: Manage electrical aspects of project schedules and collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion.
- Troubleshooting: Address and resolve electrical issues during prototype and post-STC phases using advanced testing tools.
- FAA Coordination: Collaborate with FAA DARs and DERs for approvals and assistance.
Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Education: BS Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 5 years in engineering, with experience on Airbus or Boeing aircraft fleets. Advanced degrees and registrations are a plus.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with FARs, aircraft electrical systems, and wiring diagrams. Experience with various maintenance practices and certification standards.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, creating engineering details using AutoCAD or similar software, and understanding commercial aircraft maintenance documentation.
- Travel: Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (10% of the time).
- Languages: Foreign language skills, especially Chinese dialects, are a bonus.
