LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a IT Support Specialist to provide expert-level support for our partner's technology infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth operations across computer systems, video conferencing setups, and other office technology. This role includes installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and upgrading technology, while also delivering training and support to staff across the company. Located in WEST Los Angeles, CA.
This is a Direct Hire, Full Time position, under a W2 (no C2C). Position is hybrid, with one day being remote a week. Employer is not able to support in visa transfer or sponsorship at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and prioritize support requests for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Manage and escalate helpdesk tickets as necessary.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for Mac, Windows, and mobile platforms, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
- Implement and maintain IT security protocols, monitor systems for vulnerabilities, and educate staff on best practices for cybersecurity.
- Set up and configure new devices, maintain hardware/software inventories, and manage system provisioning for new users.
- Assist with the setup and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment, web conferencing tools, and phone systems.
- Offer user training for office technology like digital whiteboards and presentation systems.
- Provide remote IT support for employees in offsite locations, ensuring they have access to the necessary tools and resources.
- Manage IT procurement processes, track orders, and update inventory records. Ensure timely delivery of IT equipment and supplies to staff.
- Assist with various IT projects as required, collaborating with the IT & Facilities Director on advanced initiatives.
- Occasional travel may be required to provide onsite support at various company locations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience in a customer service environment, with a proven ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Proficient in troubleshooting both Mac and Windows systems, with experience in AV hardware and software maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of IT security practices, network administration, and system provisioning.
- High school diploma required; a degree in computer science or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Expected compensation: 30 -38/hr - non-exempt
