1+ year of healthcare billing experience, collections, and A/R
Strong understanding of medical terminology

Knowledge of ICD-9/ ICD-10 and CPT coding.

Insight Global is looking for a medical biller who will be assisting a healthcare company work through a backlog of outstanding claims and bills. This candidate will be working from a report to verify what was billed, different EOBs, what care was provided, what amount is remaining to be billed/collected, what is bad debt and what is owed. Furthermore, this candidate will be updating the excel document, make adjustments, do additional research to confirm refunds and all documentation is accurate. Additionally, they will be doing current accounts receivable work such as sifting through claims among other various responsibilities.
