Compensation: Up to $80,000 base salary + bonus

Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on packaging equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
- Manage and execute daily field service activities, including planned maintenance and urgent repairs.
- Generate comprehensive reports for internal teams, ensuring clear communication on issues, resolutions, and service performance.
- Primarily stationed at a designated customer site, with occasional travel to other locations as directed by management.
- Plan, schedule, and complete major preventive maintenance tasks, adhering to established procedures to optimize equipment performance.
- Support post-maintenance production processes to restore or exceed pre-maintenance efficiency levels, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and automation issues, applying root cause analysis to prevent recurrence or escalating unresolved issues with detailed documentation.
- Provide technical support for claims, collaborating with the quality team to conduct root cause analysis and offer solutions.
- Install rebuild kits and restore equipment to full operational capacity, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Identify system performance improvements and implement approved solutions to enhance equipment reliability.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Engineering (required), preferably with a focus on electrical or mechanical disciplines.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical or machinery service roles within equipment manufacturing, including troubleshooting complex systems.
- Familiarity with customer site operations, packaging lines, and carton technology, required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to update customers on service activities, provide technical guidance, and foster positive working relationships.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions, serving as a reliable point of contact for customers.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing); proficiency in Spanish and/or German is preferred.
- Availability for up to 80% travel, including international travel, and residence near a major airport is required.
