Job Title: Body Weld Technician - 1361984
Location; San Antonio, TX (On-site)
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect and confirm new modified equipment to ensure it is prepared for manufacturing production.
- Verify that new model equipment meets established standards and performs as intended.
- Prepare and confirm new Bodyweld equipment at vendor locations.
- Engage in robot teaching, PLC troubleshooting, and equipment inspection/confirmation.
- Support TMNA Body Engineering for Body weld model change activities.
- Focus primarily on projects at TMMTX, with potential support for other plant locations.
- Travel for dispatch to US, Canada, and/or Mexico NAMCs and Suppliers, as well as international travel including Japan.
- Be prepared to work in a common environment that may include weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Strong experience in equipment inspection and confirmation processes.
- Proficiency in robot teaching and PLC troubleshooting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams on model change activities.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays when necessary.
