Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Superintendent to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. As a Superintendent, you will oversee all phases of construction, ensuring that projects run smoothly and safely while maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations on the job site, ensuring that work is performed safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.
- Oversee scheduling, material procurement, and workforce management to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Provide leadership and direction to on-site personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Communicate regularly with clients, architects, and engineers to address any issues or changes in project scope.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, logs, and safety records.
- Ensure adherence to all local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Mentor and train junior staff as needed to promote professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of [5-10] years of experience in commercial construction supervision.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects from start to finish.
