Our client, a Global Retail, Apparel, and Fashion organization, is looking for their new HR Director to support their Los Angeles office.

The HR Director will act as the primary Human Resources partner for our Los Angeles team. This role is pivotal in driving HR initiatives to support team growth and development. Responsibilities include advising on performance management, talent discussions, employee relations, succession planning, and assisting in recruitment efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders and employees.
- Enhance processes to attract, retain, develop, and engage talent.
- Manage onboarding, including new hire orientations.
- Oversee performance management to ensure effective feedback and support.
- Provide HR advice and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring legal compliance.
- Coach managers on performance management and organizational changes.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for Los Angeles recruitment.
- Develop recruitment strategies tailored to the LA market.
- Coordinate employee events to foster team camaraderie.
- Support general operations of the LA office and provide data as needed.
Skills and Requirements:
- 8-10+ years of HR experience.
- Experience working in the Retail, Apparel, and Fashion Industry
- Strong understanding of HR operations, including employee relations and performance management.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and influence effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
