POSITION SUMMARY
The Special Projects Coordinator works closely with the Chief Executive officer as well as other members of the senior Leadership team to advance the company’s strategic goals. This role is designed to be an accelerator towards a leadership position within the company.
POSITION FUNCTIONS
- Learn continuously about Service Electric Company and Quanta’s markets, customers, and the value each division provides and use the knowledge to support the CEO and Leadership Team’s key initiatives and priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, representing him or her and the Company in high-level meetings and discussions, and ensuring clear action items and follow-through.
- Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the CEO to facilitate efficient decision-making.
- Assist and sometimes lead in planning, organizing, and executing special projects and ad-hoc requests to support the CEO and Leadership team. Coordinate project activities, set timelines, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to project goals and deadlines.
- Work directly with the CEO and Leadership Team to deliver on key program priorities and initiatives.
- Identify and help carry out opportunities to optimize processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, and ensure quality outcomes.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and action item trackers. Ensure accurate up-to-date information is available for project stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Create and maintain reporting that meets business needs.
- Synthesis of large data sets into actionable and strategic information and metrics.
- Assist in the planning of monthly Leadership meetings, encompassing tasks such as developing meeting materials/presentations and arranging logistics.
- Maintain a pulse on the business and help connect dots with others across the organization.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle it with discretion.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned as the business needs change.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced degree or enrollment in an advanced degree program is preferred.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with Power BI, is preferred.
