PD Project Management Specialist (initial 6-month contract, extendable to 24-months // Boston, MA):
Hybrid (3 days in person, 2 days WFH)
Top Technical skills:
- Experience with Microsoft suite of tools (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.)
- SAFe SPC certified
- Strong experience with Agile management methodologies
- Experience leading diverse and complex projects and programs
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Duties:
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules, design stage reviews and prepares status reports.
- Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
- This candidate will function within a RTE role (Release Train Engineer)
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree required and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have:
- Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration (MBA)
- Strong experience with Agile management methodologies
- Independent thinker with the ability to take both a commercial and operational view of complex situations
- Ability to solve highly complex problems across multiple business functions
- Experience with ProChain, JIRA, JAMA or PDware
- Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Project Management, Engineering, or Technical Service experience
- Experience with medical devices, aerospace, imaging technology or other highly technical regulated disciplines
