A premier client of mine is looking to bring on a senior embedded software engineer. This is a critical role for my client, as they are a medical device company focusing on early stroke detection. They are looking to bring a second product to market before the end of 2025 and need an embedded software engineer to accomplish their goals!
Responsibilities
- Support final efforts on an automated system and newer efforts on a handheld system.
- Own process on server and tablet, communicate to hardware and firmware and then feed info back to make meaningful conclusions.
- Ensure the software meets specifications and is optimized for performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure the software is compatible with the hardware it will run on.
- Review and maintain the systems after deployment.
- Create and maintain documentation of projects and procedures.
- Analyzing and monitoring the efficiency and stability of a system.
Required Skills
- Embedded systems experience
- Worked with Python and C++
This will be a hybrid role based in the southern Los Angeles area. As one of the first in-house technical professionals, this will be a position with equity options. My client is targeting $140,000-$160,000 based on experience plus a bonus.
This is a full-time, permanent position, and my client cannot sponsor an individual's work authorization at this time.
