WHO WE WANT
As an Assistant Social Media Manager, you'll support the social media and community teams by helping execute our cross-channel social media strategies. Your primary responsibilities will include contributing to the planning and executing social strategies, engaging with our online community, and assisting with content creation and management. This role is ideal for someone who understands social strategy, is detail-oriented, and is passionate about social media and community building.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Strategy, Planning & Execution:
Work with the Marketing manager to develop and execute new social media strategies across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Support the planning and implementation of social media campaigns, contests, and promotions, such as collaboration posts and brand giveaways.
Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the success of campaigns and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
Community Engagement:
Actively engage with our online community by responding promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and inquiries.
Monitor online conversations and trends related to our brand and industry, sharing valuable insights with the team.
Content Creation & Management:
Assist our in-house content creator with creating, curating, and scheduling content across social media platforms when needed.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual content, including graphics and videos.
Maintain an organized content calendar, ensuring all posts are scheduled and published on time.
Track content performance and contribute to recommendations for strategy adjustments.
Administrative Support:
Assist in compiling social media reports.
Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the social media team.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in social media management, community management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and engagement.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., later, Hootsuite,)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for social media, community building, and staying up-to-date with the industry
