Configuration Architect
● Capture, document, maintain and update configuration items as part of operational activities across all Vendor Service Areas, and in accordance with BCBSA requirements.
● Collect configuration item requirements for the environments (e.g., development, test and production) from the stakeholders.
● Collaborate with relevant stakeholders including all service providers. Establish automated process interfaces to Incident and Problem management, Change management, Disaster Recovery, and asset management processes.
● Collaborate with BCBSA stakeholders to confirm appropriate authorization controls for modifying configuration items and verify compliance with software licensing.
● Create / Enhance process for verifying the accuracy of Configuration Items, adherence to configuration management process and identifying process deficiencies
● Review and establish guidelines (if does not exist) for separation between environments (e.g., development, test and production)
● Provide configuration management reports as required and defined by BCBSA and execute corrective actions/plans in case of non-compliance
● Track and flag configurations that are not in conformance (e.g., exceptions list) with BCBSA-defined standards and requirements (e.g., BCBSA-approved and unapproved non-standard configurations) and recommend remediation
