The Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to both TVF customers and internal Sales Consultants. In the fast-paced textile industry, the Customer Support Specialist will be an essential part of the sales team, working together with the goal of ensuring customers’ success. Proactiveness, solution oriented and positivity will be ideal traits for this role.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent support in a timely manner via several means which may include email, face to face interaction, telephone and chat
- Assist in customer support functions such as: new account setup, fabric sample fulfillment, order processing, freight quote creation, product availability, inventory management, credit process management, collections assistance
- Act as a liaison between customers and Sales Consultants to enhance the overall customer experience
- Identify customer/account related issues and provide adequate solutions
- Assist the customer and Sales Consultant in the RMA/Credit process
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction by learning and understanding customer business, products and needs
- Communicate positively, effectively and professionally with team members and customers
- Develop and maintain vast knowledge of TVF products and services
- Assume additional responsibilities and proactively contribute to projects as needed
- Act as the point of contact in the absence of Sales Consultants
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- At least 2 years of previous customer support experience
- Experience supporting a sales team preferred, but not required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to display flexibility while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize, focus and manage time effectively
- Ability to collaborate with sales team members and others to ensure a high level of service and success
- Highly organized, positive attitude and high energy
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software; Microsoft Office suite required
