Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Architectural Project Manager to lead and coordinate various architectural projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and client relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation.
- Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns, and providing regular updates on project progress.
- Design Oversight: Oversee the architectural design process, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, prepare cost estimates, and implement cost-control measures to stay within financial limits.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and accuracy of project deliverables through regular reviews and feedback.
- Permitting and Compliance: Manage the permitting process and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
- Reporting: Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Eight or more years of experience in all phases of architecture and engineering, including substantial and varied experience in project planning and design.
- Licensure preferred but not required.
- Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program.
- Strong Revit design and production skills and knowledge of processes is required.
- Experience on K-12 education projects is a plus, but not required.
- Experience on FEMA-funded projects is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in other federal government design project types and/or processes is a plus.
