Job Title: Project Manager – Renewables/Power
Location: Hybrid, with projects across the southern part of the U.S.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee renewable energy projects, ensuring successful execution from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the renewables or power sector, demonstrating a proven ability to manage complex projects, coordinate teams, and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.) on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and quality assurance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to address them.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Facilitate project meetings and document decisions and action items.
- Collaborate with external partners, contractors, and regulatory agencies as necessary.
- Track project performance and implement improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field; PMP or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the renewables or power industry.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies and project lifecycle.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
