The Operational Support Specialist is responsible for a multiple facility and commercial support functions primarily related to daily billing, shipping support, inventory control, returns/credits and operational expense and supply management.
Responsibilities
- Uses SAP to perform daily billing of all shipments out of multiple centers
- Checks all billing orders for accuracy, profit margin and freight charges
- Manages internal and external operations requests for orders, paperwork, tracking and billing
- Processes facility expense invoices for multiple locations.
- Purchases warehouse and office supplies for multiple warehouse locations
- Inventory control – inventory receiving into SAP, daily cycle count processing, goods receipt/invoice receipt reconciliation in SAP inventory discrepancy resolution
- Manages RMA and credit requests in conjunction with the sales team
- Supports operations team on freight claims
- Supplier PO expedites / works with Supply Chain
- SAP material create process support
- Maintains customer cost deviation files
Qualifications
- Proficient in MS Office
- SAP business software a plus
- Requires an associate degree in related business field or equivalent work experience
- Excellent persuasive and communication skills
- Billing and invoice experience highly preferred
- Proficient analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Able to work in a team environment and fulfilling objectives with minimum direct supervision
- Innovative, proactive, and self-directed
- Able to focus on goals and develop a work plan that produces desired results
