Aircraft Engine Technician
Full-Time, Permanent position
Wichita, Kansas; Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to general work requirements
- Perform periodic inspections of engines and aircraft along with Major Periodic Inspection (MPI) and Hot Section Inspection (HSI)
- Troubleshoot and repair engine and aircraft systems at various locations
- Assist in complex engine repairs on-site and off-site
- Perform removal, installation, and replacement of engines and accessories
- Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble aircraft engines
- Replace all Line Replaceable Units (LRU) as needed
- Assist with aircraft fueling/defueling, operational checks, and functional tests
- Support maintenance technicians with ground support equipment (GSE) and troubleshooting
- Perform basic sheet metal and electrical repairs as needed
- May perform Designated Inspector (DI) functions
- Collaborate with other employees in performance of duties
Required Skills and Experience:
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
- Typically, 3+ years of experience in aircraft turbine engine maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and repair documents
