Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversee the entire accounting process, assisting in the areas of financial reporting, the close process, managing the year-end audit, internal controls compliance, ad-hoc analysis, etc.
* Manage, mentor, develop, and coach the accounting staff
* Improve current accounting related processes and implement new processes and procedures to drive overall efficiency
* Work directly with the Corporate Controller to facilitate all financial needs
* Help in maintaining a standard cost system
* Own/maintain the general ledger and reconciliation of all general ledger accounts
Requirements and Qualifications
* B.S. in Accounting/Finance required
* CPA highly preferred but not required
* Cost accounting experience required
* A minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience required
* Supervisory experience required
* Excellent communication and leadership skills is a must
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
