IT SPECIALIST
Summary
An IT Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the technology infrastructure of an organization. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring network security, performing system upgrades, and providing technical support to end-users. The IT Specialist also helps implement technology solutions to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including PCs, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, operating systems, software, and hardware
Utilizes the company’s proprietary WMS, ERP, and TMS systems to provide the utmost support for end users.
Collaborates with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
Supports the warehouse operations via assisting call-ins or live chat with technical difficulties
Configures and maintains network hardware, such as routers, switches, WLCs, and cables
Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
Provides user education/training and reference materials for users by drafting operation instructions
Other duties and tasks as assigned by the IT Leader
Key Performance Indicators:
Bachelor's degree in IT related field or an equivalent combination of education and experiences
Excellent hardware/software troubleshooting, problem-solving and diagnosis skills
Comfortable working in and assisting others through remote access desktop programs.
Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows, Mac OS, Android, and iOS
Experience with 3PL products including warehouse management systems, transportation, and order management systems or ERP preferred.
A working knowledge of DC operational practices and procedures, and a good understanding of Supply Chain and WMS concepts preferred
Experience with networking hardware and concepts such as DNS, DHCP, OSI Model and TCP/IP
Bilingual Preferred (Korean & English)
Some travel may be required
