Patent Associate or Patent Agent - Biotechnology - Chicago
Our client is a top firm, seeking an experienced Biotechnology Patent Associate or Patent Agent for its Chicago office. Compensation is competitive for the Chicago market, with opportunities for substantial bonuses.
Qualifications
- At least three years of life science experience in patent preparation and prosecution of patent applications.
- Experience investigating and preparing non-infringement and invalidity opinions, participating in patent litigation to provide technical support, and performing related client counseling tasks.
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or related field.
- Strong academic credentials required.
- USPTO admission is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
