We are looking for a Senior Servicenow Platform Developer who will help build out & develop best in class work and work on innovative projects for the business.
Job Summary:
The Senior ServiceNow Platform Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role involves collaborating with various teams to identify requirements and deliver high-quality applications that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom applications and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and other modules as needed.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript) for client scripts, business rules, and workflows.
- Implement integrations with third-party systems and tools using APIs (REST, SOAP) and other integration methods.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Stay updated with ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices, recommending enhancements and improvements.
- Document technical designs, application configurations, and development processes for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ServiceNow development with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its modules.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS or other front-end frameworks.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations and web services (REST, SOAP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
