Project Superintendent shall have 5+ years’ experience in residential construction.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Strong organizational skills with keen ability to prioritize, multi-task and pay close attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills. Problem and conflict resolution skills, ability to prioritize work tasks, and teamwork and customer satisfaction orientation are required.
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of RESIDENTIAL construction principles/practices required.
- Experience dealing with subcontracts
- Experience leading a team/maintaining relationships
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, building codes, specifications, regulations.
- Ability to present & correspond information to clients & design teams effectively.
- Ability to perform calculations necessary to produce or interpret budgets, budget forecasts, discounts, percentages, costs per square foot, and other basic math functions.
- Ability to manage all internal and external relationships in a professional manner.
Description & Responsibilities:
- Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
- Maintains compliance with the contract terms for quality, schedule, and profitability.
- Manage multiple projects and work crews on various worksites.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules.
- Thorough knowledge of contract documents required to properly plan construction sequencing, staffing, and subcontractor coordination.
- Coordinates with associated trades for efficient workflow programs.
- Equipment & personnel coordination
- Responsible for directing & coordinating project construction activities & subcontractors.
- Oversees performance of the on-site assistant superintendent(s) and all Project trade contractors
- Reviews architectural and engineering drawings to ensure all Construction Documents, specifications and Code Requirements are being followed.
- Tracks, controls and updates the Project Construction Schedule and coordinates on associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and monies allocated.
- Reports to Project Management, Owners and Architects about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated (RFI).
- Participate and offer insight in Preconstruction process and Contract development.
- Coordinate with assistant superintendent(s) in development of a schedule, project site logistics plan and reporting for project.
- Oversees for Field Implementation all applicable safety programs & quality control
- Develop, schedule and lead project close-out processes including the development and completion of the Final Punch List.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year (Varying upon experience)
