A high-profile plaintiff's personal injury law firm, located in Manhattan's Financial District, is looking for a polished and experienced Paralegal.
Responsibilities
- Draft all pleadings including summons and complaints
- Draft motions, discovery demands
- Prepare and file RJI's, Notes of Issue, Notice of Entry and Stipulations
- Obtain lien information
- Efile/NYSCEF
- Request, review and summarize relevant medical records
- Heavy client contact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- At least 4 years of proven work experience in personal injury
- Spanish a huge +
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
- Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in managing multiple priorities
- Commitment to confidentiality required
