Hybrid Schedule - 1 day onsite/4 days remote
Office located in Houston - Bellaire area
POSITION REQUIREMENT:
This Application Analyst position will be working with the IT Access team supporting the Referrals/Authorizations EPIC module, as well as other third party system integrations. This position is a hybrid role that will be supporting community hospital locations as needed. The following are requirements for the role:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of Referrals/Authorizations
- Was supported by cadence team in past, don’t need referrals cert, cert in cadence but do referrals work
- Referrals- authorization and scheduling for the referral care team/referrals team
- Must be certified in Cadence or Referrals
- eMPA and Auth/Cert experience a plus (eMPA is like latest epic functionality around referrals, replaces RTA (real-time authorization), no new development more functional -- go live with it next week)
- Experience supporting large scale clinical, ancillary or business environments
- Located in the greater Houston area
SERVICE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Gather requirements, build, test, and support systems and applications, including on call support. Proposes solutions to problems and considers timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing client needs.
- Utilizes working knowledge of assigned applications to effectively complete assigned tasks. Applies workflow to and from clinical and business applications.
- Effectively leads and facilitates meetings. Develops meeting objectives, agendas and action items.
- Responsible for project assignments including leading, coordinating and completing projects related to operational and technical activities.
