A law firm in New Jersey with 9 offices throughout the state, is seeking a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney to join their growing team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in plaintiff's personal injury cases, from case inception to pretrial phases.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and handle plaintiff's personal injury cases from initiation to pretrial stages, including conducting investigations, evaluating claims, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in negotiations.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process, ensuring their rights are protected and advocating for fair compensation.
- Assess the viability of potential cases, determining whether they meet the criteria for acceptance, and strategize the best approach for successful resolution.
- Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare compelling arguments to support client cases.
- Collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and other attorneys to effectively manage caseloads and meet deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, documentation, and communication with clients, opposing counsel, and relevant parties.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New Jersey State Bar is mandatory; additional admission is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically handling plaintiff's personal injury cases, demonstrating proficiency in managing cases from start to pretrial phases.
