Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to join their team.As a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer, you'll focus on enhancing equipment lifecycle strategies, troubleshooting issues, and implementing cost-saving measures. This strategic role requires collaboration across teams to improve processes and ensure plant integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead asset outages, developing and overseeing scope.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify reliability risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Serve as backup for the Technical Service Manager.
- Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Optimize both rotating and fixed equipment, developing reliability metrics and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to company safety guidelines.
- Oversee mechanical engineering responsibilities for Management of Change (MOC) and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support equipment upgrades, capital projects, and maintenance work.
- Investigate equipment failures and provide solutions to the maintenance team.
- Develop and maintain reliability reports, KPIs, and mechanical integrity programs.
- Evaluate reliability factors through testing and oversee repairs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, with a focus on reliability or field engineering in maintenance.
- Proficiency in preventive/predictive maintenance tools and reliability methodologies (FMEA, RCFA, MTBF).
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and regulatory compliance for LDAR.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering concepts to resolve plant issues.
- Familiarity with chemical industry best practices, including safety, design, and process control.
