Imagine Staffing is recruiting for a HRIS Specialist on behalf of our partner, a leading health care company. This is a contract position offering competitive pay in Buffalo, NY
The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the delivery of quality service to all HR customers as it relates to the optimization of the data functionality and administration within the Lawson and related system. Responsibilities would include day-to-day Lawson system operations, including determining the appropriate security access levels by assigned position, administration and troubleshooting of the system functionality issues. Role is also responsible for writing, maintain and supporting data updates, complex report generation and analytical assessments that meet the needs of HR.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
Tasks That Will Lead You to Success
- Solid PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel (including vlookup), PowerPoint and Access software applications
- Multi-Systems knowledge and experience – Lawson, RS2, Access databases
- Database Management experience – Report writing, Crystal, Business Intelligence tools
- High degree of savvy around the definition of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem identification and problem solving skills; emotional intelligence, strategic, tactical, collaborative, participative, investigatory, and listening
Requirements & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in HR or IT related field required
- three (3) years of HR Data Administration, HR Analytics or IT Application related experience required; prior experience in Service Center delivery role a plus
- Lawson experience a plus
