Job Purpose and Skills:
The Treasury Portfolio Manager (TPM) is responsible for managing the day-to-day commercial deposit relationships of key business clients. The role will individually perform client calls and support the sales/service efforts of the Treasury Management department by interacting closely with RMs/TM team to identify the ongoing needs of the treasury and deposit relationship. The TPM will work closely with the Treasury Product Analyst on product setups and servicing needs.
This position will assist with customer retention efforts by providing a superior level of customer service. Direct contact and support with the business and its key deposit and treasury personnel is required. The TPM will also participate in other sales related initiatives, cross-sell identification, internal and external product training, and support for risk/compliance-related initiatives.
Performance of the duties requires strong attention to details, organization, tactful presentation, excellent communication and customer service, and in-depth knowledge of Commercial Banking and Treasury Management solutions. Developing, motivating and influencing others become important when fostering sound relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Treasury Management Onboarding
- Serve as the Treasury Management point person responsible for client onboarding and implementation of treasury management services.
- Coordinate inter-departmental communication on all internal product setups.
Portfolio Management - Enhance Client Experience
- Maintains high product knowledge, particularly with regard to commercial deposit accounts and treasury management suite of products.
- Manage assigned treasury and deposit portfolio. Individually and partner with RMs/Treasury to perform sales calls.
- Assists with preparing and analyzing relationship reviews for existing clients.
- Identifies cross-sell opportunities, anticipates future needs and areas of improvement for overall relationships.
Client Service
- Provide prompt, efficient and accurate customer service.
- Resolve day to day service issues while identifying potential broader service interruptions above the initial issue.
- Perform account maintenance, research and escalate issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with Treasury team to resolve treasury related issues.
