Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager their team in Philadelphia on construction projects in the advanced technology sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction management, a passion for high-tech projects, and the ability to drive successful project outcomes from pre-construction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, schedules, and budgets.
- Team Leadership: Manage project teams, including site supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants, providing guidance and direction throughout all project phases.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and open communication.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to address project challenges proactively.
- Quality & Safety: Oversee all aspects of project safety and quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Budget & Cost Management: Monitor project financials, track budgets, and manage change orders to optimize project profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably with advanced technology, life sciences, or mission-critical projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar.
- PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
