Key Responsibilities of the Move Coordinator position include, but are not limited to:
- Act as the main point of contact for residential clients, offering direction and assistance all through the relocation process.
- Oversee the planning, packing, delivery, and transportation of all residential move-related activities.
- Create and oversee all required move-related paperwork, such as inventory, contracts, and estimates.
- Assure prompt and effective communication between customers, movers, and outside suppliers.
- Keep an eye on the loading, unloading, and packing procedures to guarantee that the products are handled correctly.
- Handle and settle any problems or worries that might come up throughout the relocation process.
- Oversee and monitor the progress of the move to make sure all deadlines are fulfilled.
- Based on their unique needs, give clients precise estimations and cost estimates.
- Work together with the operations group to guarantee effective resource allocation.
- Maintain records of all moves and ensure compliance with business policy and industry requirements.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Experience and Requirements:
- Previous experience in a moving or relocation industry as a Move Coordinator.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a strong ability to manage client relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of logistics and the residential moving process.
- Ability to problem-solve and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and move management software.
