About the Role:
Our consultancy client is seeking a skilled ServiceNow CMDB Architect to lead the design and implementation of their Configuration Management Database (CMDB) solutions. The role will be based onsite in Columbus, Ohio, for an initial 6-month period.
Position Overview:
As a ServiceNow CMDB Architect, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining the CMDB, ensuring accurate configuration data for IT operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize CMDB health, enhance data accuracy, and integrate ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of the ServiceNow CMDB to support business needs.
- Develop and implement data models, integrations, and service mappings for the CMDB.
- Ensure CMDB health by establishing and monitoring data quality metrics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable solutions.
- Integrate the CMDB with other ServiceNow modules and third-party tools.
- Provide expertise on CMDB best practices and maintain compliance with ITIL standards.
- Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions to upskill internal teams.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow CMDB Architect or similar role.
- Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, ITOM, and Service Mapping.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Integration Hub, and related technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in client-facing roles.
- ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified System Administrator (CSA), are highly desirable.
