Leading Law Firm with a National Practice is looking for a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to join their growing team in Jacksonville. The Attorney in this position will be part of a collaborative team with a lot of opportunity for growth and advancement. This attorney will handle a variety of complex, litigation cases from inception to finish and will independently manage own caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting legal research
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery
- Conducting hearings and mediations
- Taking and defending depositions
- Handle cases independently
- Collaborate with internal teams and other attorneys on complex cases and legal strategies
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida bar
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to clients and colleagues.
- Strong litigation skills.
Compensation:
- The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $165,000 or more. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience and qualifications.
