Role Overview
The ServiceNow Project Manager would be a self-driven individual who would be accountable for managing & driving end-to-end ServiceNow project, assess ServiceNow capabilities and lead the Product roadmap aligned to client strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
• Accountable for end-to-end delivery of overall project and solutions with agreed quality and lead the project team throughout delivery process.
• Daily communication with project team, customers and leadership to report on project status, needs and plan for upcoming milestones
• Effective communication skills with the ability to set appropriate expectations with the client.
• Strong stakeholder management ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
• Strong interpersonal skills, client-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity.
• Experience driving complex issues through analysis and resolution.
• Experience working collaboratively to assess project requirements, review strategies, drive decisions, implementation and governance
• Apply expertise in the delivery methodology to promote client success.
• Manage project financials including forecast estimates, budgets, scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, changes, resourcing, and other project functions.
• Mentor team members to achieve the services objectives.
• Identify gaps in solution delivery and propose solutions and escalate as needed.
• Managing multiple projects at the same time
Technical Skills Requirements:
• 15+ years of Total experience in IT industry
• 8 years of minimum project/program management experience in IT
• 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow solution design, ITIL process consultancy or ServiceNow Product management experience
• Exposure to complex implementation of various ServiceNow capabilities such as ITSM, GRC, Test management, Service Portals, Agile development, custom application builds etc.
• Comfortable with and effective use of MS Office applications specially MS Project (proficiency expected)
• Experience in executing development and production support projects on Service Now in areas of at least one of ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CMDB, SAM, SPM, APM
• Experience in executing projects to build custom apps on Service Now.
• Experience in executing projects related to at least one functional modules of Service now like GRC, Finance
Tools and Certifications Preferred
• Well versed with Project and Program management tools, e.g., PPM, JIRA, ServiceNow Agile Development 2.0 etc.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Agile Scrum experience and Scrum Master certification
• ITIL Certification
• ServiceNow certifications in customer workflows.
Non-Technical Skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information in non-technical language
• Ability to work with all stakeholders.
• Ability to organize, delegate, and leverage resources to accomplish objectives
• Supervisory skills and the ability to leverage support from other parts of the organization
• Customer-focused mindset
• Strong customer service orientation
• Passion for analyzing problems, designing creative solutions
• Close attention to detail and accuracy
