We’re looking to hire a E-Commerce Content Strategist for a Fortune 500 technology client. You’ll join the Content team to conduct comprehensive research across the e-commerce landscape to identify emerging trends and opportunities for innovation.
This is a 12 – month contract + extension.
The team is located in Cupertino, CA, and the role is on-site 5 days/week.
E-Commerce Content Strategist Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess content throughout the entire customer journey, from initial discovery to post-purchase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and support global content strategy briefs and initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth market and competitive analyses to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and best practices in retail, customer experience, emerging technologies, and content.
- Analyze research findings to generate actionable insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these insights into broader business strategies.
- Create compelling presentations to effectively communicate strategies, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including executives. Utilize storytelling techniques to convey complex information in a clear and impactful manner.
- Craft comprehensive content strategies aligned with digital platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand objectives. Develop and maintain content calendars to support marketing campaigns and enhance customer engagement.
- Create clear and concise briefs for the Marketing & Communications team, providing necessary context and objectives to guide content creation. Ensure briefs align with overall content and innovation strategies.
- Continuously monitor and analyze online trends, social media movements, and digital behaviors to inform strategy. Understand and anticipate the preferences and behaviors of Gen Z and other key demographics to tailor content and experiences effectively.
E-Commerce Content Strategist Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in the retail or technology sector, with a strong background in retail strategy, digital customer experience, innovation, or content strategy.
- Exceptional communicator with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver impactful presentations to executive audiences.
- Data-driven problem solver who can extract meaningful insights from complex information and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Innovative strategist skilled at developing and implementing content and innovation strategies that drive business growth and achieve strategic objectives.
- Expert analyst with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Skilled presenter who can create visually stunning and impactful Keynote presentations that effectively communicate key messages.
- Passionate digital native who is deeply engaged with online communities and trends on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Up-to-date on emerging trends in eCommerce and social commerce, with a keen understanding of cultural shifts and consumer behavior.
